We are more than happy to provide you with a full detailed quote for any insurance approved works that need to be carried out on your property or work place. Your insurer can then assess these and once you have received the green light from them we can arrange a start date to complete the necessary works.

If you've had a leak and the ceiling needs replacing, or your boundary wall has been knocked down or damaged we will quote for all the work required.

First floor extension in Welwyn Garden City.

We had plans drawn up and passed by the council for a 1st floor extension comprising an extra bedroom and en-suite. A friend recommended Modernist construction after they had built their garage and revamped their entire garden to a very high standard.

Modernist Construction provided us with a very detailed and fair quote, so we decided to go ahead and use them to build our extension.

We found their workmen to be very professional and courteous at all times; explaining what they were doing when we asked and happy to give advice and ideas. There was never any mess left laying around at the end of each day and they were careful to ensure the security of our property at all times.

The brickwork on our extension is of a very high standard and was commented on by the building inspector when he came for his site visits. The finish inside the extension is of a very high standard and we are extremely pleased.

Underneath the extension a new patio and decking area has been built to let us enjoy summer nights and affords us shelter in the poorer weather.
